2017, 8 NOVEMBER - ELENA HARCONIŢA, DIRECTOR OF THE USARB SCIENTIFIC LIBRARY PARTICIPATED AT THE CYCLE OF PROFESSIONAL MEETINGS, DEDICATED TO THE CELEBRATION OF THE 185TH ANNIVERSARY OF THE NATIONAL LIBRARY
...Elena..Harconiţa, director of the USARB Scientific Library participated at the cycle of professional meetings, dedicated to the celebration of the 185th anniversary of the National Library of the Republic of Moldova "Strengthening and developing libraries - the axis of Implementing the New Strategic Framework and Regulatory", (1-2 November 2017). On November 8, 2017, she reported about these meetings at the Professional Development Conference of USARB librarians.
The International Conference "Developing the Cooperation of European Libraries in the Virtual Space" was moderated by Elena PINTILEI, General Director of BNRM.Representatives of Ministry of Education, Culture and Research, the Novateca National Program, guests from 7 European national libraries came with greeting messages.
On November 2, was held THE FORUM OF MANAGERS FROM THE NATIONAL LIBRARY SYSTEM. The Forum worked in 2 sections : Bibliologic Year 2018 - the year of re-establishment of libraries in line with the new legal, strategic and regulatory framework and Implementation of the new legal, strategic and regulatory framework: national, departmental and territorial responsibilities.
Elena HARCONIŢA, Director of the USARB Scientific Library, presented the paper "Priorities of the University Libraries in accordance with the new legal, strategic and regulatory framework”, in which she spoke about international projects implemented in university libraries, including the Erasmus+ "Library Network Support Services” (LNSS): modernising libraries in Armenia, Moldova and Belarus through library staff development and reforming library services (LNSS).
