2017, 12 OCTOBER - SECTION OF BIBLIOTECONOMY AND INFORMATION SCIENCES AT THE SCIENTIFIC-PRACTICAL CONFERENCE WITH INTERNATIONAL PARTICIPATION "TRADITION AND INNOVATION IN SCIENTIFIC RESEARCH"
...On..October..12, in the Conference Hall of USARB Scientific Library, the section: Biblioteconomy and Information Sciences was held within Scientific-practical Conference with international participation Colloquia Professorum "Tradition and Innovation in Scientific Research". The event was dedicated to 72 years from the founding of the University and the Library.
The conference was attended by representatives of the professional environment in the country and abroad, Angela Repanovici, Prof. Dr. Engineer from Transylvania University, Brasov, Romania, Ludmila Corghenci, Head of Continuing Training Center in Biblioteconomy and Information Sciences of National Library of the Republic of Moldova, Rodica Sobieski-Camerzan, Director of AAPM Scientific Library. Elena Harconita, Library Director moderated the event.
Within the conference were presented 15 scientific papers on the importance of scientometry in the research of the field of information science, the context of the legal and strategic provisions of library science, the good practices of the university library in the international projects, the essential management and transferable abilities for librarians - LNSS Project in Armenia, Moldova and Belarus, electronic services on the JOOMLA platform, the results of the ORA USARB Institutional repository, the Research4Life scientific platform, the USARB musical training and research from the perspective of information services, Synopsis in USARB collections, Sytinsky editions of the works of Lev Nikolaevich Tolstoy as a phenomenon of Russian culture of the 19th century.
