2018, 20-21 APRIL - USARB LIBRARIANS AT THE NATIONAL SYMPOSIUM IN SUCEAVA DEDICATED TO THE DAY OF LIBRARIAN AND THE CENTENARY OF THE GREAT UNION
..On..20..and 21..April 2018, a group of librarians from the USARB Scientific Library participated in the 2nd edition of the National Symposium with International Participation "Contribution of the Library to Promoting Cultural Diversity in the Romanian Space". The Symposium was dedicated to the International Book Day, Copyright and Librarian Day celebration (April 23rd).
The event took place within the framework of the actions through which the "Stefan cel Mare” University in Suceava marks the Year of the Centenary of the Great Union and the European Year of Cultural Heritage with the title Romania (1918-2018) Centenary.
In the Symposium official opening, Elena Harconiţa, director of the USARB Scientific Library, issued a congratulations message for Romanian librarians, emphasizing the importance of the profession in society and she donated books published by USARB librarians.
"Library National Awareness Day 2017” in Republic of Moldova was made at the plenary session by Valentina Topalo, focusing on events organized within the LNSS Project.
Within the sections and in the plenary of the Symposium, papers were presented by authors from Romania, Moldova, Ukraine and Italy.
