2018, 27 APRIL - .COMMUNIQUE ON THE PROFESSIONAL LIBRARIANS MEETING IN THE NORTH OF THE REPUBLIC OF MOLDOVA, BALTI
On...April...27,...2018 took place the professional meeting of the librarians from education in Northern Moldova,organized by the Departmental Library Center of USARB Scientific Library in agreement with the Ministry of Education, Culture and Research of the Republic of Moldova, Local Education Specialty Bodies from 15 Northern Districts and Bălţi.
40 specialists, responsible for the activity of school libraries and technical vocational education in OLSDÎ, colleges and vocational schools participated.
The Moderator was Elena Harconiţa, director of SL USARB, member of the National Librarianship Council.
At the meeting, Valentina Topalo and Silvia Ciobanu spoke about the activities carried out with the Librarian Day and the National Awareness Day on libraries in Moldova in 2017, as well as about the event in 2018
The establishment of such celebration comes as a component part of the LNSS Project – Library Network Support Services: modernising libraries in Armenia, Moldova and Belarus through library staff development and reforming libraries [LNSS], in which participated SL USARB and SL of the Academy of Public Administration and academic libraries from Armenia and Belarus, alongside European partners - Ireland, Greece, Romania, Germany.
