...In...the...context of the April 23rd - Libraries National Awareness Day, Librarian Day in the Republic of Moldova, in order to raise the awareness of the academic community, society, to increase the level of information on innovative services provided by the library to users, several events were organized according to the program. Starting with 2001, the Scientific Library celebrates Librarian's Day in the Republic of Moldova, from 2017 - Libraries National Awareness Day - Part of the Project Library Network Support Services: modernizing libraries in Armenia, Moldova and Belarus through library staff development and reforming libraries [LNSS]”, Co-funded by the Erasmus+ Programm Consolidation capacity in the field of higher education.

A Book Caffe was held in the Library Book Club, organized in partnership with Margareta Curtescu, Associate professor, Ph.D. in philology, USARB Faculty of Philology, a honorary guest Valentina Budurin, teacher of Romanian language and literature, "Mihai Eminescu" High School of Bălţi, students of the third year at the Faculty of Philology. Event-Moderator was Valentina Topalo, the chief librarian.

Participants learned more about the role of the book and copyright, the experiences and best practices on the daily work of the Library and the University Librarian, about information resources and electronic services, taking note of several promotional materials.

BOOK CAFFE, first edition, included exhibitions with presentations:

The students have read poems from books of Margareta Curtescu (the author, literary critic, associate professor of USARB university, essayist, poet and writer from the Republic of Moldova). Also, they have read from the volumes of the university writers Nicolae Leahu and Maria Şleahtiţchi. The participants used both the printed and electronic books, each of them feeling like a literary critic, commenting with conclusive arguments on the reading poetry, followed by the comments of Margareta Curtescu.
