2018, 5-9 MARCH - OPEN EDUCATION WEEK AT USARB SCIENTIFIC LIBRARY
The Scientific Library has launched the third edition of the Open Education Week, which aims to raise awareness about the movement and its impact on teaching and learning around the world. The Open Education Week was held in the context of ERASMUS+ Program Library Network Support Services: modernising libraries in Armenia, Moldova and Belarus through library staff development and reforming libraries [LNSS].
The students from the Faculty of Law and Social Sciences, DR41Z, took part in the opening event where Olga Dascal, a librarian in Media Hall, presented Free Open Information Resources Platforms (OER).
Mihaela Staver, Librarian, Center for Computerization and Networking, presented MOOC Open Online Masive Courses on the most popular Coursera, Edx, Udacity, Iversity.org, Mook.ro platforms.
In the Collection Communication Service. Infodocumentary programs. Marketing has been organized and presented a full range of exhibitions according to the program.
Angela Hăbăşescu, librarian from reading room no. 3 Psycho-pedagogical, natural, real sciences. Arts, spoke about Open Education in the Republic of Moldova to students from the Faculty of Education, Psychology and Arts.
Snejana Zadainova and Aliona Purici, librarians from reading room no. 1 Socio-economic and Economic Sciences presented the “Textbooks and teaching materials with the highest circulation” to students from the Faculty of Law and Social Sciences.
